What to expect
Who can attend: Children ages 4-12 may attend our summer camps. Non-students may also register!
Pick up and drop off: All camps are from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday. Extended care is from 3pm-6pm. You may pick your child up early. If someone besides you will pick up your child, you must let us know ahead of time who they are!
Dress: Dress your child in loose, comfortable clothing. Wushu Central uniforms are acceptable, but not required during camp.
Food: Due to the concerns dealing with food allergies and individual diet preferences, campers are to bring their own lunch and snack. Please be sure to pack the appropriate items for your child each day; please avoid any perishable foods.
What will my child be doing during the day: In the morning, we will warm up with some games and free play, do our stretches, and start learning the form for the week. Lunch will be at noon. After lunch, we will resume practicing the form and include more games, tumbling and exercises. Most of your child’s day will involve physical activity. We also have activities that focus on life lessons and mental self defense. Snack time will vary throughout the day. On the last day of each camp, each child will perform the form that they learned for the parents and everyone gets a trophy!
What about extended care: During extended care, we have board games and coloring activities for your child. |
