Why Compete?

Soon to be featured at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China - Wushu is not only a martial art for fitness, self defense, and personal development. It is also one of the world's most visually dazzling performance sports.

At advanced tournament levels, you will see men and women in beautiful Chinese silk uniforms throwing lightning fast kicks and executing dazzling acrobatic stunts. Events include both empty hand and weapon forms. You can view many Wushu competitions in our very own videos section.
