If you love Wushu and enjoy sharing your knowledge of it with others, then imagine making a living doing just that! We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals who like helping people and making a positive difference.

If you are interested in becoming a Wushu instructor, you can take your first step in that direction today. Whether you are a black belt or a white belt, you can begin learning the specialized teaching and communication techniques of Wushu Central while developing detailed knowledge of the style. After sufficient training and experience, teaching can become a full time career that is both emotionally and financially rewarding.

Stage 1: Instructor Leadership Training

Most instructors begin by learning the essential skills that make a great Wushu Central teacher: Everything from how to present before a group, to how to break moves down to teachable components, to having the correct positive approach with students. Our Leadership Training teaches these skills the “Wushu Central Way” and allows you to develop your teaching skills and gain experience through helping other students.

Instructor Leadership Training is available to adults and to minors ages 12 and above.

Stage 2: Staff Instructor

Staff instructors are responsible for leading and teaching classes at Wushu Central. The ability to work well with both children and adults is a must, and if you have gone through Leadership Training, you will have developed these skills already. You will attend weekly staff meetings and training sessions, and be involved in most school events.

Staff Instructor is a paid position available to adults and to minors ages 14 and above. May be part-time or full-time.

Stage 3: Managing Instructor

Managing instructors supervise the operations of the school as a whole. In addition to teaching classes, they maintain overall order on the training floor, ensure that classes are taught correctly, and handle customer issues. They are also responsible for enrolling and renewing students, and making sure that current students are happy with their classes. As a manager, you will be involved in virtually every aspect of Wushu Central.

Managing Instructor is a full-time position available to Staff Instructors who have developed the experience necessary to handle a more challenging role.

Stage 4: Head Instructor

A Head instructor is the primary instructor of a Wushu Central location. You are part of Wushu Central’s expansion and growth, and are responsible for helping to grow and run a school. You will meet with Sifu Chang twice or more a week to continue developing your skills in Wushu and receive ongoing education in business management. As you will be the key player in the success of your location, the skies are truly the limit for your own success.

Head Instructor is a full-time position available to Managing Instructors who have the desire to run a school.
